I would like any info on Halifax/Dartmouth. We may be relocating to that area in late summer early fall. Also where is the military (navy) base located at?

Born in Windsor, NS and grew up in Hantsport. Went to LE Shaw Elementary and graduated in '85 from Horton High School. Worked/owned salons in the coldbrook location. Write if any of this is familiar, we'll do the Maritimer thing and keep comminicating until we find someone in common.

We are both school teachers with a part time home-based business on the side. Any one out there who is interested in starting their own home-based business drop us a note. We'd be happy to introduce you to our company.

Hi Elisabeth & Juergen,

Visited the January site of Highway 7. Like I said before, it's getting better and better all the time. The pics of the Eastern Shore winter make me feel even more "homesick" than I already am! Didn't find the picture of your grandchild though, Elisabeth (sorry!).

Will send you long letter soon. Thanks a million for yours!
As always very much appreciated . . .

Greetings from stormy and rainy Holland,
Christine & Willem

Hello to all Nova Scotians out there. We get home once every two years or so. I am married (Annie Fisher-Springhill) and we have a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. I work as a paramedic (ALS) with the fire department here in St.Albert. I also live here which is immediately north of Edmonton. I attended EPRH and St. F.X. I would certainly like to hear from anyone with similar ties and/or old friends.

Hello to all you fellow maritimers missing that fresh ocean air. I've been in Brampton near Toronto for nine years and I think it has been long enough.I am 29 now and have currently returned to college and will be moving down to the Halifax region in two years.I would hope that I could hear from some more people that had lived in the Pictou County area.

Hi, my name's Kelley.I live here in the great city of Calgary, like many other maritimers!I really like it here.
Although I did only plan to come out here for a year or so
to get some work experience but I've made so many good friends out here and I've made an alright living for myself.
I live downtown Calgary right now and my brother has just
moved out here a few months ago. I'm not as home sick anymore, although nothing really compares to excellent Nova Scotia I think I'll live here for a while.
Boo, to those people that say the maritimes suck, because if there was work there, we all know you'd want to be there.
Another random point...Although moving away from home is a
good learning experience isn't it heart breaking that we
have to!!move in order to find half decent jobs.
Anyway, I Love Nova Scotia
Love Kelley.
