I have been in Ridgetown since 92...yeeha.
Very exciting....not.
I work for an automotive company, our claim to fame is the Dodge Viper....we build the frame, dash and sport bar. I am going home July 3 for 2 weeks. Business and pleasure finally going to break down and sell my little lot of property overlooking Chedabucto Harbour.

Since I have lived on both coasts would like to know if any of my old friends are on the net. Well yes Elaine I know you are. So write sometime.

Well....what can I say?
I'm like most haligonians, you can take the boy out of nova scotia, but you can't take nova scotia out of the boy!!
I've been out here in victoria (they call it the land of granola because it's full of nuts and flakes!!) for 8 years now and still have a hard time meeting people and making freinds!
Very COLD climate here for being so warm if you know what I mean!
I took my wife to the north end of halifax for out honeymoon...everyone thought I was nuts!
There's nothin' like a down home lobser boil!!
Take care all!

Burlington is a beautiful city but it's not home. I finally got back two years ago(after 28 years) and have been able to visit my parents twice yearly now that I got rid of my "excess baggage". I'll be down in late Sept. or early Oct. just in time for the mackerel run.
I attended Eastern Shore Marine High, and would like to contact some of my old classmates as well as hockey and softball team mates.

Well..I can certainly relate to these people missing home. When I graduated in '94 I then moved on to St.Fxu for one short but fun year. I desperately wanted to move off the island "God's Country" as people always said. Boy..did I get the shock of my life. I had to grow up quick and I really miss having my wash done for me and my meals on the table. I spent a few years wishing I was someplace else other than Sydney Mines but now my dream is to just move back home and be close to my family and friends once again. The people are just not the same.. Maritimers can really party. So..as I sit in Computer Lab today.. I only wish I were home planning to go out tonight with my friends. What does a gal have to do to get an OLANDS here..:)
