Judy Randall (maiden name) Would love the odd note from anyone else who only remembers the words to "Farewell to Nova Scotia" after a wine or two when the voice is usually in better tune.????
Will be visiting Bridgewater/Lunenburg area in late summer/97.

I left Nova Scot1a 10 years ago to join my brother in Toronto. Today I live in California and I really miss my home.
I think about it every day and I was wondering if anyone from Nova Scotia who is currently living in the United States would like to comment on the differences in the United States and how they adjusted.
I am in the Computer Industry. I work about 80 hours per week.
Maybe that's why I miss my home.

I live in Bradford, Ont with my husband, Mike, our daughter Chrissy, 21 and son Sean, 18, plus 2 dogs. I have taught and lived here since 1977. We go to Inv. to visit now and then, with our most recent visit being last summer. I attended St.F.X. from fall of 67 to 71 and right now I keep in touch, barely, with Delores MacDonald, formerly from Isle Madame and now living in Port Hawksbury. Anybody know her? A freind from X that I haven't seen since is a Margie mcNeil from Sydney. Probably a fairly common name but this Margie was a great friend of a lady called Marlene that died suddenly about 5/6 years ago. I have a sister living in Halifax and a brother in Dartmouth. Plus a brother in Wetaskawin, Alberta and one in Dawson Creek. Needles to say, we don't see much of one another.
Bye,
Corrine D.

I joined the military in '79 and have lived just about everywhere. I spent the last 17 years thinking of home and saving for one. When you live in CAPE BRETON everybody says that there is nothing here, well I just think that they are taking the place for granted! In less than three years I and the wife are going home. And if I ever think that it will be a mistake I will just think of ontario.
