St. Mary's River Association
Eastern Shore rivers like East & West River (Sheet Harbour), the Moser, Ecum Secum, Liscombe and St. Mary's (Sherbrooke) have been known for decades for their 'scoop 'em up with your hands' salmon. Now, sadly, most salmon rivers are 'catch and release' only.
The St. Mary's River Association web site offers a glimpse of the past - and the future for Atlantic Salmon.

Trout Nova Scotia
Sport fishing is a favourite pastime in Nova Scotia. Anglers love the fiestiness of our NS Brook, Brown and Rainbow trout and you'll see fishermen line the river banks and lakeshores from May to October.

Here are the teams, atheletes and prominent aquatic sports that call Halifax, Nova Scotia home. As might be expected, the city's water sports are unequalled. Sailing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, diving and sport fishing are featured.

Mayflower Curling Club
Celebrate with Colleen Jones at the Mayflower Curling Club, 3000 Monaghan Drive in Halifax, April 17th at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

A comprehensive list of adventure sport links in Nova Scotia includes paddling and rock-climbing. Quite a few broken or outdated links in here, but click through to the good ones. It's worth the effort.

Bouldering
In many locales, it's known as cliff-scaling or rock-climbing. Here, in Nova Scotia, where advancing glaciers left skyscraper sized granite outcrops on its voyage to the sea, this adventure sport is called "bouldering". Definitely not an activity for acrophobics (fear of heights).
